On the horizon a crackling Scorzè with Zecchin and Basso aboard 208 R5, alongside Colferai with a 207 S2000. Ceccato aboard Clio S1600 will be in Salsomaggiore Terme.
With the August hot weather the “classica veneziana” is back: Power Car Team prepares the 15° Rally Città di Scorzè.
Two Peugeot 208 T16 R5 on the starting line, that will be driven by Emanuele “Ema” Zecchin and Andrea Basso. Zecchin, flanked by Nicola Vettoretti, at his first race of the season when he will seek the top of the overall classification in the home-race, where he has won many times; Basso as well, navigated by Matteo Gambasin, is back from a great performance at “Schio” where he has gained the third place of the R5 class. He brings with himself great expectation and the committment of obtaining an important result.
The couple Carlo Colferai/Alice Mosele is ready to pick up aboard the beloved Peugeot 207 S2000. They are at their first official race after the recent marriage. The newly-weds, who want to give themselves a present, will look for a victory like they have done at Dolomiti Rally last April.
The event, that is scheduled for August 4 and 5, it will be characterized by 12 completely new special tests, in which the super-special one of Saturday will take place in the former missile base of Pesseggia; a total amount of 208 kilometres, 65 of them will be timed.
A Renault Clio S1600 will be deployed for the Bassano pilot Vittorio Ceccato, navigated by Rudy Tessaro, who are ready to race for the 1st Rally di Salsomaggiore Terme.
ROVATTI SHOW AT RAAB
Michele Rovatti, flanked by Valentina Catone, aboard Renault Clio S1600, has found the feeling with the car. He has done a new brilliant performance at Rally Alto Appennino Bolognese. The Tuscan pilot has conducted a impeccabile race with test timings in line with the ones of the R5 class crews. He has closed in fourth place in the overall classification, with a total timing of 53’03”.6, and winning also the S1600 class for the fifth time in a row in the current season.
