11 Oct TO DUE VALLI PER FOR THE FINAL RUSH OF TROFEO PEUGEOT COMPETITION 208 TOP: HOME BATTLE FOR DE TOMMASO AND CUFFI

Rally Due Valli, last CIR appointment, is crowning the winner of Peugeot Competition 208 Top, which regards a Munaretto’s home challenge between De Tommaso and Ciuffi. The crews composed by Tacchella/Zullo, Panato/Zandonà and Ceccato/Silotto will be on the starting line of Regional Rally Championship.

This weekend is going to be stunning, which is characterized by a home battle for Power Car Team, with the aim of achieving the Competition 208 TOP Trophy, that raffles an official pilot position for the 2018 season on board of the 208 R2.

The stage, where the challenge is taking place, will be the 35th Rally Due Valli, last appointment of Rally Italian Championship, scheduled for October 13/14/15.

Damiano De Tommaso, placed side by side with Michele Ferrara, arrives to the Verona race solidly on the top of the rank with 63 points, after achieving full outcome at Roma Capitale Rally, he is projected to the title victory. The Varese pilot, on the other hand, won’t have an easy task, because he will be pursued by Tommaso Ciuffi, who follows him with 45 points and he has to conduct an offensive race, ready to benefit from every possible flaw of his opposing.

In addition to CIR, the team will deploy three crews at the Regional Championship Rally race, that is characterized by a reduce mileage which will retrace the PS of “Italiano”.

On the starting line there will be the couples composed by Mirko Tacchella and Cristian Zullo, at their second time on board of a Peugeot 207 S2000, and finally Vittorio Ceccato and Denis Silotto with the Renault Clio S1600.

The official event start is on Friday 13, with the cars passage throw piazza Brà at 18.30, and it regards the development of 180 kilometres of special tests for the CIR version, and of 70 kilometres for the CRR. The second one ends on Saturday, leaving the CIR pilots fighting on Sunday.
