TOWARDS RONDE VALTIBERINA WITH MARCHIORO AND MAESTRINI

Marchioro rushes at Ground Race Day while waiting to see him in action at CIRT. Leopoldo Martini takes part too in the 207 S2000.
POWER CAR TEAM restarts this weekend with ground races, lining up two crews at the 11th City of Arezzo-Ronde Valtiberina, which is the second to last one of six planned by Ground Challenge Raceday.
The Schio team will deploy two crews composed of Marchioro/Marchetti in the Peugeot 208 R5 and Maestrini/Innocenti in the Peugeot 207 S2000.
It will be a high voltage race for Nicolò Marchioro, who will be guided by the faithful Marco Marchetti, with the aim to keep the position gained after the first four dates occurred in 2016. The young venetian racer takes up the first position of “Group B”, and the second one of the Challenge.
The second crew, composed of Leopoldo Maestrini e Jacopo Innocenti, will participate to take a break between the 4th Ronde della Val Merula race, that has occurred on February 5th, and the Ciocco’s one, which has scheduled in mid-March.
The starting ceremony is planned for Saturday 4th March at 18.31 from Corso Italia in Arezzo. On sunday the four passages of Alpe di Poti PS will take place, for a total amount of 56,20 km. Afterward, at 17.30, it will be the award ceremony.
