25 May ANOTHER BIG WEEKEND ARCHIVED AND NOW AT 1000 MIGLIA

Yagiz Avci still gives smiles winning in Bulgaria, at “Taro” great performance for Zanon and Ciuffi, the return of Pizzato to Bellunese has been excellent. This weekend eyes on 1000 Miglia with five crews, three of them will at the second appointment of Italian WRC.

Absolutely a positive weekend for Power Car Team thanks to the Italian and Bulgarian tasks.

Another exciting performance Yagiz Avci navigated by Bahadir Gucenmez, this time out of the Turkish borders. The couple imposed itself to the 48th Rally Bulgaria, ending the race with a gap of over a minute from the chaser, having a rich result for the championship.

A massive participation at 24th Rally of Taro where Bernd Zanon with his 207 S2000 and Tommaso Ciuffi with the 208 R2 took part in the race. The Alto Adige pilot confirms his great moment gaining a second class place, and the young tuscan, took a third class place, showing that he is enjoying the asphalt. Not a good performance for Marco Melino never entered in “the game” and for Simone Goldoni as well, who has retired because of a road exit. Roberto Vellani comes back home embittered, enrolled for “Nazionale”, because of an error in PS3 which impeded himself to complete the great race he was having by driving a few second behind the first.

At “Bellunese” Mike Pizzato took part on board of the Renault Clio S1600, after five years of inactivity. The time haven’t undermined the capabilities of the strong Bassano driver and the results confirm a great fifth place in the national championship and the first class place.

READY FOR 1000 MIGLIA 

This weekend the 41th edition of Rally 1000 Miglia, historic appointment on the Brescia roads, for this year it’s the second appointment of Italian WRC.

The crede enrolled at CIWRC will be three, Antonio Forato/Ivan Gasparotto on the Peugeot 208 T16 R5 seeking the revenge after the early ending race at Elba, Domenico Erbetta/Valerio Silvaggi looking for the double and Stefano Liburdi/Andrea Colapietro who enters with a delay of one race, both on Peugeot 207 S2000.

Another 207 S2000 is ready for the couple Tiziano Panato/Michele Zandonà, and one Renault Clio S1600 for Paolo Menegatti and Matteo Gambasin, wishing the revenge after the sad end at Elba.

The event, scheduled on 26th and 27th of May, will start and end at Lungolago Zanardelli of Salò, with a route of ten special tests on a total amount of 118.50 km of tests.
