16 Nov DE TOMMASO AND POWER CAR TEAM CONQUER THE “PALLADIO”!

Broad-spectrum success for the Schio team, last weekend, which has seen its  seven crews ending with great performances, especially De Tommaso, who won in the overall category with the Peugeot 208 T16 R5. This weekend, on the “Balcone” ground with Marchioro and in Pomarance with Stizzoli.

Power Car Team continues its winning streak by pulling off a great weekend at the 9th Ronde del Palladio, recording the arrival of all their own cars and being the proud holder of the overall victory.

Damiano De Tommaso shined again, thanks to its impeccable race on an unprecedented route for him. The young Varese talent, aboard Peugeot 208 T16 R5, gived himself the second overall victory in his career, confirming that  he has the champion’s stuff and the high car competitiveness. Also Paolo Menegatti’s performance has been relevant, in a couple with Matteo Gambasin, because the Zanè pilot was at his first experience with R5 of Peugeot; for him the fifth placement in the overall classification and the fourth in the class one.

The three crews composed by Francesco Pozza/Marco Zortea, Alessandro Nicoletti/Luca Zanrosso and Mauro Trentin/Michele Coletti, aboard Peugeot 207 S2000, completed the class. They all reached the arrival without any problem and with significant satisfactions. The Asiago pilot Pozza stands up, who has felt comfortable with the french aspirated four-wheel-drive. He has been able to interpret immediately a race characterized by an insidious ground and to complete the mileage conquering the class and an important sixth placement in the overall classification.

In addition two fantastic podium are the result of Giovanni Toffano and Michele Griso’s races. The first one aboard Renault Clio S1600 and the second one with the Peugeot 208 R2. For Toffano the third step of the podium which worth a little bit more, because the Venetia pilot was at his debut with the S1600, for Griso a second placement gained at the end, thanks to the victory at the last special-test scheduled.

WITH MARCHIORO AT “BALCONE” AND STIZZOLI IN POMARANCE

The team’s activity doesn’t stop and it is preparing two new away-races.

There will be respectively on the starting line: Christian Marchioro/Silvia Dall’Olmo, aboard Peugeot 207 S2000, at the 12th Rally delle Marche for the first appointment of the Challenge Raceday Rally Terra new season; Andrea Stizzoli/Federico Migliorini, at the 5th Rally Day di Pomarance, with a Peugeot 208 R2.
