01 Sep ERBETTA CLOSE TO VICTORY

A satisfying away race at Alpi orientali, with four of five cars on the podium; Domenico Erbetta near to victory in S2000 of CIWRC.

Power Car Team is back from the Friuli away race with great results: four of five cars ended their races on the podium.

A bittersweet performance for Domenico Erbetta with his Peugeot 207 S2000, who imposed himself as top of his class until the second to last special, but he wasn’t able to keep the rhythm because of a worsen physical pain, and he ended in second place. The points gained allow him to keep opened the championship. At the moment he occupies the second place.

Good performance for Stefano Liburdi, on the 207 S2000 as well; third class place for him, gained by reaching great test timings. We have not to forget that he started CIWRC with a delay of one race.

A burning battle also in S1600 class for Paolo Menegatti and Gabriele Beltrame. Leaders of a head to head until the first lap of special tests, when, also because of an enemy’s mistake, Menegatti went better, by ending his performance with an excellent second class place, moving up Beltrame who continued without forcing and defending the third place.

Route completed without any problem also for Giacomo Frisiero, placed side by side with Luigi Pirollo, on board of a Peugeot 208 R2.

TOMMASO CIUFFI TO RALLY OF REGGELLO

Tommaso Ciuffi is on the starting line of the 10th Rally of Reggello, assisted by Nicolò Gonella, is going to seek a performance that makes him smile, on board of the Peugeot 208 R2.

The race program consist of the start day on Saturday 2nd September night at 10.15 pm, and the PS1 “Pietrasanta” developing. The day after, Sunday 3rd, other 7 special tests, for a total amount of 83,800 kilometres, then the event closing in the afternoon.
