22 Mar MARCH CONTINUES WITH A DOUBLE PARTICIPATION ON THE NATIONAL FRONT FOR POWER CAR TEAM

The team is going to undertake certainly a “hot” weekend. It will be on race grounds with five cars, two deployed at Rally dei Laghi and three at Rally del Grifo.

POWER CAR TEAM this weekend deploys two cars at 26° Rally dei Laghi, which opens the Italian Cup.

The cars prepared for clients will be a Renault Clio S1600, entrusted to David Bizzozero, and a Peugeot 208 R2 for Marco Melino. They will go with Miriam Marchetti and Marco Maifredini at their right.

The event will be caracterized by the execution of four special test, for a total amount of 90 km, to the roads of alto Varesotto. It starts on saturday from Caravate to the finish line on sunday at Varese, in the suggestive scenario of Estensi Gardens of eighteenth century.

The other planned date is at Arzignano, for the 8th Rally del Grifo.

Here, Antonio Forato, in a couple with Ivan Gasparotto, comes back sitting down on the Peugeot 208 R5, starting his 2017 season. Also two Peugeot 207 S2000 are ready, one reserved for Domenico Erbetta guided by Matteo Magrin, waiting the start of the Italian Championship WRC, and the other one for Bernd Zanon, in a couple with Denis Piceno, who this year will pass to motor wheels.

This year race, reviewed from past years, presents a change: a 8,2 km nocturnal test. The race is on saturday 25 and sunday 26, for a total amount of 66 km of tarmac. Start and arrival, as usual, in Arzignano. Vehichle fleets will be at Valdagno.

LAST WEEKEND AT CIOCCO AND COLLI SCALIGERI

Bettini, at his first race with 208 R5, paied a no-optimal tire choice for the first part. Unexpected that anyway allows him to rank third. At “Colli Scaligeri”,

Davide Pighi’s race was undermined by an about-turn in the first PS. Then he decided to continue the race without risks, stacking up kilometres for future events.
