19 Oct POWER CAR TEAM AND DE TOMMASO WINS THE PEUGEOT COMPETITION 208 TOP TROPHY

“Due Valli” is archived: De Tommaso has gained the Peugeot 208 Top Trophy and Ciuffi has ended with the second place. At Regionale overall victory for Tacchella, who has been on board of 208 R5, for Panato in S2000 class and silver for Ceccato in the S1600 one. Next weekend the task is in Turkey at Marmaris Rallisi and in Italy at Aci Como Trophy.

Power Car Team, again, proves itself as talent scout, and also this year brings two of the most promising pilots on the top of the Peugeot 208 Top Trophy.

Damiano De Tommaso hits the target at “2 Valli”, thanks to a wise performance with the aim of limiting errors, and wins the Peugeot Trophy, that is dedicated to young drivers, gaining the official position for the 2018 season, when he has to attend on board of a 208 R2. Tommaso Ciuffi, ground specialist, has ended his race by fighting against the bad luck, because he got a double puncture that compromised his performance, but, on the other hand, it permitted himself to end the race in the fourth class place, closing the Peugeot program in the second place, after showing to make the asphalt specialists worried.

The Verona race was characterized by the validity for the Regional Rally Championship, in which three drivers of the Schio team attended.

Mirko Tacchella, on board of the Peugeot 208 R5, gained the class and the first step of the podium, after a struggling fight with Righetti; Tiziano Panato, with the Peugeot 207 S2000, thanks to an high level performance, that permitted himself to drive the race in S2000 class on the most part of PS, ended with the first class place and the fourth one in the overall rank; on the podium in his class also Vittorio Ceccato with the Renault Clio S1600, who gained the silver.

READY FOR NEW BATTLES AT MARMARIS RALLISI AND AT “COMO”

After a few week stop, the official program restarts in Turkey, with the attendance of the usual crew Yagiz Avci/Bahadir Gucenmez, at Marmaris Rallisi 2017, event valid for the Balkan Rally Cup, composed by 13 special tests, for a total amount of 205 timed kilometres, on 20 and 22 of October.

On the national front four crews seeks the victory of the 36th Aci Como Trophy, two on the starting line of the last appointment of CIWRC, and two at Nazionale.

At CIWRC in race the couples composed by s Domenico Erbetta/Valerio Silvaggi, that wish to end the series with a top rank performance, and Stefano Liburdi/Andrea Colapietro to continue the row of positive results that permitted them to gain always points, both on board of the Peugeot 207 S2000.

At Nazionale, Riccardo Pederzani flanked by Edoardo Brovelli and Maurizio Pederzani placed side by side with Lino Battaglia, father to son, the first one behind the wheel of a Peugeot 208 R2 and the second one on board of a Peugeot 207 S2000.
