18 Jul POWER CAR TEAM PREPARES THE HOME RALLY AND THE NEW APPOINTMENT WITH CIR JUNIOR

Six cars deployed at “Schio” for the home Rally, at “Roma Capitale” with Ciuffi and Strabello to continue the path of Rally Junior Italian Championship.

New demanding task for the Schio team, on the starting line this weekend for two important appointments.

The harder task will be the 28th Rally Città di Schio, home rally for Power Car Team, on July 21 and 22.

Three Peugeot 208 T16 R5 are ready for the event, assigned respectively to the following crews: Adriano Lovisetto/Christian Cracco, Andrea Basso/Giulia Zanchetta and Mauro Rongoni/Mauro Marchiori. Also two Peugeot 207 S2000 are ready to roar, which will be driven by Paolo Menegatti, flanked by the faithful Matteo Gambasin, and Giovanni Costenaro, who will be accompanied by Enrico Gastaldello. A Renault Clio S1600 will be prepared for Alessandro Nicoletti, who will share it with Luca Zanrosso.

The event, which came back thanks to the last two editions, it promises to be  a high level appointment that consists of seven special-tests, for a total amount of 70 kilometres of timed tests.

In addition, the team will be at the important Rally di Roma Capitale, at its 6th edition. The crews on the starting line, composed by Tommaso Ciuffi/Nicolò Gonella and Stefano Strabello/Paolo Scardoni, both aboard Peugeot 208 R2, they will continue their path in the Rally Junior Italian Championship, which is at the halfway point.

The event is very important for both pilots: Ciuffi will seek the top of  classification, after having lost it in the unlucky away race of “San Marino”, Strabello will look for a great performance that will give new impetus to his season.

Starting ceremony on Friday 20th July in the hearth of the eternal city, in Piazza Adriana, followed by the test show at Eur. The main part of the race will be developed on Saturday and Sunday, until ending the test on the  Ostia boardwalk scheduled for July 22 at night.
