05 Oct POZZA WINS THE BASSANO
At “Bassano” all the S2000 podium for the “white-and-green” colors, with Pozza as a star performer. Bronze for Vellani at the ’”Appennino Reggiano” who gains the Regional AciSport Championship 2017. Marchioro in Sardinia obtains the third place in the Rally Terra Italian Championship rank and he arrives close to the podium in the overall rank.
Power Car Team ends a demanding September absolutely with a positive evaluation.
At “Bassano” mission completed for Francesco Pozza, placed side by side with Ivan Gasparotto on board of a Peugeot 207 S2000, repeated the 2016 feat, by gaining for two years in a row the class S2000 victory. The others two white-and-green crews, Trentin/Coletti and Panato/Zandonà have completed the class podium, by occupying respectively the second and the third place, ending a very important performance characterized by positive chronometric results.
A race ended without any problem also for Ceccato/Tessaro, on board of a Renault Clio S1600, by the achievement of a third class place.
Unlucky race for the crew composed by Bizzozero/Tosetto, that has retired because of a banal breakdown to the Clio S1600, while it was in third place.
The 38th Rally Appennino Reggiano ended with a third overall place and the victory of the Regional Acisport 2017 Championship for Roberto Vellani. Not a brilliant performance because the Reggio Emilia pilot was conditioned by an accident during the shakedow.
In Sardinia, at Rally Costa Smeralda, fifth CIRT appointment, the Munaretto’s standard beareres were Nicolò Marchioro and Marco Marchetti, on board of a Peugeot 208 R5. The crew succeeds only in part the goal of perking up an unlucky season, by imprinting a right rhythm in the second part of the race and by winning one special test, ending in third CIRT place and fourth overall placament, only eight tenth far from the podium.
