THE STRONG SQUAD IS READY FOR THE HOMETOWN RALLY

An hefty appointment at hometown rally, the “Schio”, with seven cars deployed. Yagiz Avci joins Yesil Bursa Rallisi to keep winning.
The Schio stable deploys eight crews, divided between Italy and abroad, to fight this weekend, confirming Power Car Team technical and organizational solidity regarding private clients and official pilots as well.
Seven of them, on the starting line of the 27th Rally Città di Schio, hometown rally for Power Car Team, brings to race three Peugeot 207 S2000; the crews are composed by Andrea Basso/Giulia Zanchetta, Carlo Colferai/Alice Mosele and Mirko Tacchella/Federico Righetti, all able to say with a stern voice in the class rank, but also to work towards a prestigious placement in the national championship.
The “white & green” squad continues with two Renault Clio S1600 entrusted to the crews Roberto Franzoso/Monica Crusco and Riccardo Ferrante/Jenny Maddalozzo, one Peugeot 208 R2 for Giacomo Frisiero placed side by side by Luigi Pirollo, and finally Davide D’Orlando with Fabio Casella on a Renault Clio Gr.A.
The event starts on Saturday July 22th with the crews presentation at Piazza Rossi, followed by the starting race with the first nocturnal PS, the “Monte Rosso”. The rest of the race takes place the day after, Sunday 23th, on six special test, for a total amount of 69,30 km. Final ceremony at Piazza Rossi at 5.30 pm.
In addition to the Italian appointment, the team is at the 42th Yesil Bursa Rallisi, for the fourth task of the National Turkish Championship; the usual crew composed by Yagiz Avci and Bahadir Gucenmez on board of aPeugeot 208 T15 R5, looking for the third seasonal victory to keep the positive trend of great results which are characterizing the strong Turkish pilot’s season.
UPS AND DOWNS IN SAN MARINO
Thanks to the great performance at “San Marino”, where he stepped up to the CIR Junior podium for all the stages, Damiano De Tommaso settles himself on the top of the Trofeo Peugeot 208 Top rank, and he confirms the second place at Junior.
Bad luck for Nicolò Marchioro and Tommaso Ciuffi, both forced to the retirement at the end of Race 2 while they were having a great performance in their classes, after ending the first race day in a example way, occupying respectively the third place in the Terra National Championship and the first one in R2 class.
Riccardo Pederzani, at his first approach with the ground, he ended his performance with the fifth class place between Juniors, after returning to Race 2 with super-rally.
Bene per Christian Marchioro, who joined the 4th San marino Rally Show on board of Peugeot 207 S2000, closing his weekend with the first class place and the fifth place in the National Championship.
