ROVATTI DOMINATES THE IRC “2 WHEEL DRIVE”

At Casentino Rovatti has won again in the IRC “two-wheel-drive”, Ciuffi was fast but unlucky. Zanon at Carnia on the podium and led the Alpe Adria Rally Cup.
Michele Rovatti, in a couple with Valentina Catone, confirms himself as a  “two-wheel-drive” expert and, aboard the faithful Renault Clio S1600, ended his 38th Rally Internazionale del Casentino in 13th placement in the overall classification, leading the category reserved for front-wheel-drive cars and reinforcing his leadership in the IRC classification.
Result not up to the performance for Tommaso Ciuffi/Nicolò Gonella, aboard Peugeot 208 R2. The couple indeed, after dominating the first half of the race, has had a road exit during PS6, moving backwards from the first to the seventh final class placement.
A crew, composed by Bernd Zanon and Denis Piceno, aboard Peugeot 208 T16 R5, it was on the starting line of the 5th Rally Valli della Carnia, which is an appointment valid for Alpe Adria Rally Cup.The Alto Adige pilot Zanon, again, have not hesitated to show his talent, and thanks to a performance without any flaws, he has gained the third step of the class podium and an important victory in AARC.
