Third appointment of International Rally Cup at Casentino with Rovatti and Ciuffi, Zanon at Carnia to defend the top of the rank in AARC.

A new challenge for Power Car Team, which is ready for a double away-race on July 6, 7 and 8.

There will be two crews on the starting line of the 38th International Rally del Casentino, second to last appointment of IRCup series: the first one is composed by Michele Rovatti flanked by Valentina Catone, aboard the faithful Renault Clio S1600, seeking important points which let him to stay to the top of the rank reserved for two-wheel-drive; the second one is composed by Tommaso Ciuffi and Nicolò Gonella, aboard Peugeot 208 R2, that is back to the IRC Championship after the exciting class victory gained at “Lirenas”.

Bernd Zanon and Denis Piceno, aboard Peugeot 208 T16 R5, they will be on the Friuli roads nearby Arezzo, for the 5th Rally Valli della Carnia, viable appointment for AARC. New exciting adventure for the Alto Adige pilot, leader of Alpe Adria Rally Cup, who will defend the top place in a competitive class, composed by eight strong competitors.

FIRST PLACEMENT FOR CHRISTIAN MARCHIORO

Christian Marchioro and Silvia Dall’Olmo, aboard Peugeot 207 S2000, have gained, last weekend, the 9th edition of Rally del Titano. The couple, that has started in a offensive way to test competitors, recorded the scratch on the first special-test, by keeping it without any problem until the end, thanks also to the opponent’s retirement, that let him to win the first victory in the overall rank of his career.

We will forget the performance of three crews at the 46th San Marino Rally: Bresolin/Pollet which have retired because of the break pop-off valve of their Peugeot 208 R5; Ciuffi/Gonella and Strabello/Bianchi, both aboard Peugeot 208 R2, they have retired during PS 8 because of a road exit when they were occupying respectively the second and the sixth place at CIRJunior.
