Carella and Bizzotto conquer their classes. Important feedbacks also from the others crews on the starting line of CIWRC. The team doesn’t stop and next weekend is on the starting line with seven cars: Zanon at Ina Delta Rally, Ciuffi at Italia Sardegna Rally, Rovatti at “Taro”, De Tommaso, Tacchella e Panato at “Valpolicella” and Ceccato at “Valleversa.

The away-race of Power Car Team at the 51th Rally del Salento, which is the second appointment of CIWRC series, could not have gone better. It has ended with all the crews on the finish line, most of them on the podium.

Exciting class victory for Andrea Carella and Enrico Bracchi aboard Peugeot 208 T16 R5, that have been able to end a high level race without any leeway, leaving behind their back the misstep of 1000 Miglia and getting themselves back on track for CIWRC title.

Important and profitable the performances of three crews on the starting line aboard Peugeot 207 S2000. They all gained points for the Championship, where Giampaolo Bizzotto’s performance stands out, in a couple with Sandra Tommasini, who won again gaining the class and consolidate his top rank place. To follow the excellent third place of Stefano Liburdi, navigated by Andrea Colapietro, which permits to the couple to place itself to the third placamento in the Championship and it bodes well for the next appointment of “Marca”; finally with the fourth place of Mauro Trentin, with Michele Coletti, useful for the Championship.

Paolo Menegatti and Matteo Gambasin have been fast but unlucky, aboard Renault Clio S1600, because they stumbled upon a puncture during PS8 that made theme lose the top of the class; anyway a good secon place for them, which is useful for the Championship rank.

Good race also for Stefano Baggio/Francesco Berdin, aboard Peugeot 208 R2, that has ended with the sixth class place after recording excellent timings in some of the single special tests.

WORK GOES ON WITHOUT ANY STOP, FIVE RACES IN SIGHT

The team doesn’t stop, it is just back from the Salento away-race, but it restarts for a new and demanding weekend race, which is divided between June 7th and 10th.

Bernd Zanon, with Denis Piceno, will be on the starting lin of the 44th Ina Delta Rally aboard Peugeot 208 T16 R5, for the third appointment of Alpe Adria Rally Cup.

Tommaso Ciuffi, flanked by Nicolò Gonella, will face Rally Italia Sardegna on board of Peugeot 208 R2, to compete with the best and to experience in an important and prestigious scene like WRC.

Three crews will be on race at the 1st Rally della Valpolicella: Damiano De Tommaso/Giorgia Ascalone and Mirko Tacchella/Giuseppe Ceschi both aboard Peugeot 208 T16 R5, Tiziano Panato/Michele Zandonà on board of Peugeot 207 S2000.

On the starting line of the 25th edition of Rally Internazionale del Taro, IRC series appointment, there will be the couple Michele Rovatti/Valentina Catone, aboard Renault Clio S1600.

The weekend puzzle is complete by Vittorio Ceccato and Rudy Tessaro, that will be at the Rallyday Valleversa aboard Renault Clio S1600.
