A SHADING WEEKEND AT TUSCAN REWIND

A “Tuscan” characterized by excellent chronometric feedbacks is filed, where the team, on the other hand, wasn’t able to reach the results desired because of some unlucky events. Paolo Andreucci, completely comfortable on the 208 R5 by Power Car Team and strongly on the top until the moment he retired.
Power Car Team closes the 9th Tuscan Rewind, which is the last appointment of Rally Terra Italian Championship, bringing with itself conflicting feelings.
A cats and dogs weather and the number one on the wing, which are such a burden rather than a pride on the ground, didn’t prevent  the crew, composed by Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi, to stay on the top of the overall classification after gaining the first three PSes on Sunday, thanks to a devastating rhythm and a Peugeot 208 T16 R5 in great shape! Unfortunately, during the second test lap, a trivial problem on braking system, caused by a rock between the caliper and the disk, forced the crew to retirement, leaving on the ground a well-deserved victory.
Unfortunate story also for Alessandro Bettega, in a couple with Simone Scattolin, aboard Peugeot 208 T16 R5. The Trento pilot, after setting up in the first phase, in the second one started to perform well, recording an excellent sixth timing in the PS 3. Unfortunately, the windshield breakup, in addition to the intercom damage, brought the crew to the retirement.
A venial error for Luca Franci, forced to retire while he was racing the PS 5, because of a little touch that broke the back of his Peugeot 207 S2000.
