08 Aug ZECCHIN AN INCH AWAY FROM THE PODIUM IN SCORZÉ

Good Zecchin back to race who gains a fourth place in the overall classification, seventh class placement for Basso who wants make up next time. Unlucky Colferai has retired when he was leading the class.

At the 15th Rally Città di Scorzè, last weekend, two Peugeot 208 T16 R5 were brought to race by Emanuele Zecchin and Andrea Basso. The Treviso pilot Zecchin ends with a fourth place in the overall classification, with less then 4 seconds from the podium, after one year away from races; Basso’s performance was underdone, because he never entered in race, ending with a seventh class placement, that doesn’t reflect the Venetian pilot’s talent.

Back with sour taste also Carlo Colferai and Alice Mosele, who have had a great performance until half race. The couple, that until the withdrawal it was occupying the first class S2000 place, after gaining al the scratches from PS2 to PS8, has been the looser of the victory because of the Peugeot 207 S2000 handbreak malfunction.

Good the Ceccato/Maroso couple, aboard Renault Clio S1600, that has ended the 1st Rally di Salsomaggiore Terme without any problem.
